That sucks to hear, I’ve always heard he was one of the more approachable celebrities. I guess early 90s was kind of his prime

He was very approachable, the flight attendant asked for a photo. We chatted and had a drink for about an hour while we were delayed out of Dallas. Field of dreams is actually third on his list.

I haven't watched either in a decade or more, but I don't recall hating the Postman or Waterworld.

When he was filming "The Guardian"? Because I worked at the bar that they filmed a few scenes at, and got to talk to him for a few days. Cool guy.

He doesn't need to be approached by people all day everyday. I wouldn't let my kids go bother some public figure. Let them be.

No one has yet to mention ‘The Untouchables’ or ‘Dances with Wolves’? He’s been in some great movies and we hardly hear abt him. Also, ‘Yellowstone’ season 1 and 2 were great...3 not so much.

Field of dreams for me is the greatest Costner sports movie. Tin Cup is great, but, Field of Dreams has a special place in my heart.

Tried to approach him and he said “don’t bother me”.

Reminds me of his line from The Bodyguard.
Woman tells him she’s been watching him all night from across the room.
He tells her to go back there and keep watching.

Dances With Wolves is one of my favorite movies. He was also really good in the Hatfields and McCoys mini series
