Seriously? Yes, it's way more pointless.

Think of the situation with literally anything else.

A subreddit for people who own Honda lawn mowers.

A subreddit for people who don't own Honda lawnmowers.

Can you still not see which one is more pointless?

What a completely stupid comparison.

Isn’t that exactly what this site does on a hourly basis?

Plus Reddit is one of the most popular sites on the internet with users from all over the world. Try to classify it all into one group doesn’t make sense.

It's more fulfilling to raise a pet from baby to adult than to raise a disgusting human from baby to adult. I love watching little kittens go from slipping and sliding and tripping around the house to leaping gracefully from surface to surface.

And don't even get me started in riding horses. I'd much rather spend my days with horses than kids. Horses are nice and quiet and understanding and so much fun to ride. I love the feeling of soaring over a jump with a horse, it's truly the best.

This gem.....

EDIT: I have just added two more, both related to the utterly stupid comments about being a "true sports fan" by one Mr. Bob Ryan.

Tell me folks are not this dumb?

I don't have kids but I do not wear it like a badge of pride. The group of people who shouldn't procreate and do not have the ability to raise kids to productive members of society give it a bad name.

Wife and I are dinks.

Don't feel the need to broadcast it and still get up early to go seize the day.

My wife and I aren’t interested in kids right now. At the same time, we don’t shite on people who choose to have them.

Children are not "parasites."
Those people apparently are a bunch of assholes or they can't find anyone to frick to make a kid.

i may never have kids. i'm not anti-kid

the people who preach "childfree" just seem like stunted, selfish, narcissistic people IN GENERAL (outside of the kid discussion)

your life isn't that fricking exciting, Brenda

That’s all that is on that board.

They don’t have kids because they can’t find anyone to breed with them. A subreddit full of neckbeard gamers and fat women.

Oh I meant in the short term. We'll have kids within 5 years or so. The "unless things change" part would be if something made us have kids sooner.
