I’m a teacher and I would love just once for this to happen. That kid didn’t want any part of teacher because at the end of the day he’s just a scared little boy. “Come on son. Whatcha wanna do? Nothing between us but space and opportunity”

Pretty sure the poster was joking

This is a local story here

What caused the tirade was the teacher asked the student to remove his headphones and then put his hand on his shoulder and then the dude went all ghetto on him. No story I've read has said anything about the teacher saying the N word.

The most ridiculous part of this is that the teacher has been suspended and not the student

It’s due to many being truly handicapped with neurological disorders that include spectrum kiddos. Now, the problem is the behavioral issues mixed in that don’t truly have mental obstacles.

Glad I’m in suburbia Texas.

I can say with total confidence, if I was that teacher.. I do not possess the self control required to not punch that punk in his nose.

The problem goes back to a fictional character for a true statement.

Imagine Buda with a trucker cap, muscle T-shirt, and Brando entergy drink.

I just assume this kind of crap happens all the time too.
depends on the teacher/situation. I work at an inner city school and have yet to have this happen to me. Im pretty laid back though. Worst I've had happen is some mexican kids get chirpy after I asked them to sit down at a wrestling tournament I was announcing.

It’s horse shite. I know it, you know it, they know it. It’s used so often to no effect that I find myself thinking it in the context of “this ***** really said that!?” Or some such shite that I have to catch myself. It’s thrown around haphazardly but then someone is supposed to pull it out and throw it down like an a-bomb and just obliterate all argument?

Use it, fine. Let it be free use.
Ban it, fine, ban it for EVERYONE.

This random magic power we give it of being powerless and destroying at the same time is grade A, hypocritical horseshite and EVERYONE knows it.
While I agree with your premise I think it's pretty easy to cover your tracks in these situations. I've only been in my building for 2 years and everyone that works here knows if I was ever accused of that it would be a lie because of the example I've set in how I treat everyone I come across.

And every year, teachers and administrators get handcuffed even more as to what they can do to that child.

I disagree on the word "many" as stated above. Students with neurological disorders that exhibit violent behaviors may be the reason behind the current legislation, but in reality, students in this sub-group make up a very small percentage of the population. The issue is that some students are literally being instructed by their mom's to act inappropriately. School discipline records become documention for a lifetime supply of Social Security disability benefits. It is a giant scam. When you add in section 8 housing, food stamps, welfare, Medicare and Medicaid, you end up with a lifetime of "benefits" paid for by others. The SSI disability is just the 1st step.

Scope out the documentary "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia" to see this play out on camera. It is truly disgusting imho.

Lastly, I am of the opinion that it is ruining public education. The learning environment for other student's is simply being destroyed by these belligerent assholes.

Rant over.
