I mean, He is. However, how would he have wiped her sins away with no atonement? There has to be payment for sin.

Since you appear to be a Romanist, let me explain it to you like this: post hoc ergo propter hoc.

I think you need to see the definition of "omnipotent". You essentially just told me that a woman can be a little bit pregnant.

Yeah, but you just owned yourself in the process.

As not being a Catholic? Fine by me. I'm interested to hear how I "owned" myself.

I don’t need to see the definition of omnipotent. As someone who studies the Word deeply, I am pretty sure I have a firm grasp of how this works.

You yourself, however, have already outed yourself as not debating in good faith and have already made very backhanded statements about God, Christ Jesus, and Christianity as a whole.

Furthermore, I don’t think you quite understand the immaculate conception at all.

OK. He's omnipotent, but there's are conditions to his power.

Why would making her sinless, so one generation, change the equation then?

She came from sinners (her parents), etc.

Not debating in good faith? I don't understand what you mean. You've also made backhanded statements about Christian beliefs too. You've called some of them weird.

How so? I probably know more about it than you do.

Because she then can't pass her sin on to him.

No, however if God is the perfect being, residing in heaven, the perfect place, He cannot be around sin. There has to be blood atonement. Who was the blood atonement for Mary’s sins prior to Christ?

Worshipping Mary is like worshipping the Ark. Both were just a vessel for God’s gift of grace.

I’m not debating, just curious about the concept. Is there a verse or is it a reading between the lines thing?

If her parents didn’t have to be sinless to have a sinless child, why does she have to be sinless to have a sinless Jesus?

Right. Congratulations on arguing for the immaculate conception.
