It’s because no one is actually ready to have a real conversation. Having a real conversation means that the left will have to hold themselves accountable and that is not going to happen

Had an old black man stop me in a store the other day. One of those old guys that just wanna talk to somebody. He asked me what I thought about the whole situation. I said I haven't been following it much. I believe he called me a "honkey" 3 times in our conversation. All I could do was laugh. I don't think he was all there, but it was a fun conversation

I said this in another thread and I'll say it here as well.
I'm tired of being told we need to have a "conversation" and that during that "conversation" I just need to "listen." No. "Conversations" are a 2 way street in the real world.

Yep. I asked a few questions on reddit about how I am supposed to reconcile black leaders of yesteryear longing for a color blind world, me trying to live a color blind life, and now being told that being color blind is a white privilege stance to take and that I am trying to wipe out black culture by being color blind. I was downvoted to hell and called a right wing troll.
