Why do all the board “moderates” hate America

American healthcare costs are double what the next country is.
You're like those brain-dead Europeans my wife ran into on a cruise. They started waxing rhapsodic about their "free" healthcare. When she asked how much they paid in national/federal taxes it was over twice what we in America do. But, just like you, they couldn't grasp that concept.
Don't even get me started on their expected wait times for needed medical procedures. But, sure, flocks of Americans are going overseas for medical care.

So your alter is a “moderate” and your main account is acting like a retard
Makes sense honestly

short answer: because social media and the media tells them to.
long answer: As narcissists, they conveniently blame free markets, individual liberty, and personal initiative for their failures—so it’s no surprise they hate the country built on those principles.

I really doubt it's that low
I’m surprised it’s that high. I imagine that number will continue to go down, at least until we can get someone competent in the White House. The odds of that are pretty low as well.

I think this is a fine country that has offered a lot of opportunity, prosperity, freedom, and security around the world.
Having said that, I'm not getting all caught up in nationalism. It's just arbitrary lines drawn in the dirt.
This country has definitely seen better days.
Having said that I think we are currently under leadership that's correcting some of the shortfalls. I don't think there's any going back, though, over some of our most structural/embedded problems.

Only 9% not proud!
91% said they were proud. This seems more of a measure of to what degrees Americans employ hyperbole.

Democrats hate America. Isn't it obvious?

In addition to the 58% of U.S. adults who are extremely or very proud, 19% say they are “moderately” proud, 11% “only a little” proud and 9% “not at all” proud.
So 91% of Americans are proud, just in varying levels.
I thought at least half of this country hated America or something.

This is a product of 24/7 "news" orgs (and now social media echo chambers) telling 1/2 of the population that the other half is the enemy. Don't know how we fix this without some freedoms getting trampled (new Sedition Act?).
Tribalism works.
Marketers in the last century learned that sex sells. Political marketers learned in this century that fear and anger sell even better.

There’s a lot of boomers that long for the 60s again and even though they’re enjoying their Medicaid and SS payments they’ll tell you this country sucks.

This sentiment would have meaning if the same people who say this weren’t the same ones who voted for a dementia patient.

Exactly. Half our voting population basically voted for a turnip in 2020 and a cum dumpster in 2024, although most will never admit just how bad of candidates Joe and the Ho were.
