I agree that he took away some police resources but they didn't put homicide detectives on this case. Tons of media coverage doesn't mean the whole department was assigned to work this case.

This was address in the presser and it was said that the JS investigation did not take resources outside of the hate crimes dept and that it was the media and others who put this in the spotlight.
Typical bs deflection from the media and those who came to his aid before knowing the facts and wanting this to be true.

I don't think it's the same detective pool. Homicide detectives wouldn't investigate something like this.

The left really has no choice to but to be mad at him about this, even though every fiber of their being doesn't want to.
