I like Robin Roberts and think she is genuinely a good person. She failed completely in her interview with Smollett. There were plenty of red flags that required a reporter to do a more intensive interview at the time. She will have to address her lack of professionalism in that interview at some point. She has egg all over her face.

I'd be surprised if she even mentioned this again. The only people who care are conservatives. There's no public outcry, no MSM call for justice. This will be forgotten quickly in the media realm. It's the cycle we've seen a few hundred times.
It will, however, greatly help trump get reelected. It's the same as 2016. Kind of a quiet storm of people being fed up with this shite.

It's page 12 news now. Before it was page 1 covering 60% of the page top story news.
Sure they're "covering" it, but no one gives a shite other than the demographic on this board.
It's sad but true. These people will never come out and say they were wrong and apologize. It will never happen.

The former is mostly wishful thinking. If that even happens, you're overestimating how many people who watch these news programs will care.
The latter is true. If it is made a big deal, it'll be for a couple hours tops.

They’ve already somewhat addressing this and saying that no matter the hoax or lies JS said the issue is still an issue and people of color and that those who are gay are still being victimized.
