How in the almighty hell does the media get to view a video that the public isn't allowed to view?
It's like these police departments want people to not trust them.

A video recorded by a camera attached to a Jefferson Parish Sheriff deputy’s stun gun captured the moment a man was fatally shot by a fellow deputy following a Marrero chase Wednesday night.

The Sheriff’s Office allowed news reporters to individually view the footage Thursday, but the agency did not disseminate the video to the public.

Reading hard for you or are you just lazy? (same could be said for the OP who posted click bait and didn't quote the most important part of the article)
quote:
One of the deputies -- it's not clear who -- shouts, "Move," and another can be heard shouting, "Gun," before the sound of gunfire rings out. Reyes falls to the ground and rolls to his side while holding an object that appears to be a gun in his right hand.

Ah, nothing to see here. La Raza may be a little upset tho.

Generally just lazy, but I'm not the OP who left out most of the pertinent information and expected people to click on a link to a website that had 4 pop ups and and ad blocked in the length of time it took to read the article.

probably b/c it's part of an ongoing investigation and that kinda stuff isn't made public record until the investigation is complete
and hinging off the back of the Minneapolis stuff... wanted the media to see it to make sure there's a working knowledge of what happened during the incident somewhere in public to just make sure stupid shite doesn't pop off here too

Police departments act like they want to look retarded.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Haven’t seen any updates on this since it first broke a month or so ago. Which I guess either means they’re still investigating or they declined to charge him?
