JPSO made it clear that Neveaux was still armed during the arrest, all the force used was necessary and more was deserved

The cop wailing on him was laying on his back. It was pretty obvious they would beat his arse, you're definitely catching stick time for killing a cop, but that dude wasn't moving an inch let alone turning to shot anybody.

Anyone that complains about excessive force on an arrest of a cop killer, just deserves to die in a fire. There is a reason this shite does not happen in Gretna and did not happen in Jefferson Parish under Harry Lee's tenure.

That's hard to prove and I would hope even harder to find a jury or judge to rule in that favor. The man is a cold blooded murderer with a gun in his possession.. but it's your right to stick up for him if you so choose

The fact that they let him leave alive is more than he deserved.

I'm not sticking up for him. Normand shouldn't BS me and just say they beat his arse for killing a cop, which everyone understands.

what causes this 19 y/o to commit such a heinous act is beyond me.

He didn't want to go to jail because he had a gun (Stolen I think) and was on probation. He didn't want to go to jail so he committed murder instead. (Thinking he could get away from the problem)

The suspect had a illegal gun charge previously. He knew he was in trouble when the officer approached him

Sadly it's 2016 and stating that would've produced a viable case, instead Normand did the right thing and said he was still armed and therefore the use of force was necessary. I understand your perspective in playing devils advocate but a man lost his life today because some POS had to prove himself..He deserves to burn in hell, but I'd rather watch him burn alive right here

That's the problem most wouldn't understand, NN said the right thing and when the investigation is done he will say they used the necessary force to unarmed and arrest the suspect ...

I love the clowns who can't help themselves and just HAVE to go out of their way to be contrarian jack offs on here, no matter the situation or event.

This pretty much sums up why what he did is still beyond my reasoning, but then again I am using reasoning.

Nola has far more good people than bad. The problem is the bad are the fricking worst and the loudest. Ever seen the movie Bug's Life? Same applies here. As soon as the good realize they outnumber the bad by a large margin the better shot we have of fixing this city.
