Buddy’s mom just lost her house in Jonesboro. She’s fine.

Wow, I wonder how much effort it takes to correct overturned trains. Hopefully any hazardous materials that may be leaking don't contaminate resources that are supplied from the area.

The wheels are called trucks.

Rail cars just sit on the trucks. They aren't attached.

I hope that ALDI that survived had restocked toilet paper, because I bet everyone crapped their pants!

I see in the IPaper this morning that no deaths. That's good but I also see where the mayor instituted a 7pm curfew for the town. Isn't that overdoing it a bit?

I think it has more to do with state of emergency and to stop the looters.

And I don’t mean this to sound flippant, but it’s good to see this damn virus put some lives in the positive column.

Under normal circumstances this could have been a worst case tornado.

Never ever thought that would be a problem in Jonesboro but you know the area a helluva lot better than I do. Thanks for all the pics. The wife looked at them and actually recognized some places she had frequented when she use to visit there.

The roof of Home Depot caving in, damn. That would have been a worst case scenario for sure.

My heart goes out for those in Arkansas, to deal with this amidst a pandemic has to be the most challenging thing in life.

Not until she gets her roots colored. Salons are closed as you know so it might be a while.

I lived in Paragould and Jonesboro in the mid 90’s. Great cities to live and work. I really hate it for Jonesboro especially in this pandemic. Prayers for NE AR!
