Pgould here. Went east of paragould. We could see a bunch of debri in the air 2 miles away.

I agree in this case when there is a visible tornado, but especially pre cell alerts it’s was very easy to drive up on a rain wrapped tornado even during the day.

Many chasers won’t go to the Deep South for that exact reason.

Wow... Some of the images coming in from Jonesboro suggest this was a high end tornado.

Yes, but most people should utilize a way to get warnings when they are on the go. There are a million apps that send alerts for warnings, plus built in warning alerts on phones. That’s my point. People don’t pay attention to the fact that there is a threat of severe weather, and they don’t utilize a good way to get warnings.

Amazing how it appeared to drop down in a second. Nothing and then boom rope tornado on the ground.

Thank God those retailers at the mall were closed on what would usually be a busy Saturday.

Any word on Paragould? Should have been a little south of that track I'd guess.
