Nostalgic AF
i figured this... because I was pumped to eat a pie with Lil Bit when they opened in BR... and while it was good and if completely smash it anytime given th chance.... no way in hell it lived up to to what I heard over the years going to LSU early '00s... but then I didn't know what NLA'ians were used to calling good food so wasn't sure

I like thin crust pizza.

Campisi's in Dallas is similar.

Deano's in Lafayette has similar thin crust too.

100% about who makes it. The topping proportions are so much more than any other fast foodish pizza place, but some workers would go over board and put too much, while some would skimp, but if weighed to the suggested weight of each ingredient it was can't beat.

Certain locations are better than others. Like someone said earlier, Mckeen and old sterlington/TandC are better than others. I've had it in BR and it tasted like Johnnys but you can tell when it just isn't right.

This 100%. Seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes the pizza tastes great and sometimes I'd rather just throw it in the trash. Some locations are more hit and others are more miss.

I loved Deanos in the 5 minutes it was in BR. Johnnys is mediocre though. Poor for the price.

This talk would have been heresy 20 years ago being from NE LA, but I don't even try it anymore.

Seriously I didn't find the topping to be of anything better than just decent quality.

Something like Blaze pizza (or for what Lit in BR sounds) is probably the same price point but much higher quality. (Eta actually cheaper)

Better if you tell them to cook it "medium well" and get the cheese toasted. I want my cheese bubbled then browned, not gloppy.

It's good for what it is. Better than Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc.

Lit is better for sure, but I put them in a higher category. I consider Johnny's more on the level of Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc.
