Used to live in apt 222 right on the water. Walking distance. Yep. The best.

The regional chain started in Monroe in September 1967 on DeSiard Street

I spent plenty of money here back in my college days. Most of my classes were in Filhiol Hall. Walk across the street and get a pizza, bring it back and I probably got to eat about two pieces. I had many friends.

I went to straight anchovy pizza before long and got to enjoy the whole thing myself.

Is Johnny still alive?

Johnny asked my dad to invest in the startup. He declined thinking the product would be unpopular. Looking back he said it was the worst business decision he ever made.

My friend's brother started working at the original DeSiard location when he was in high school. He still works for Johnny as one of the corporate officers.

I love JP. I ate at a pizza place, think it was BJs, in lafayette years ago..........same decor, same pizza ...someone said that the owner was originally co-owner with Johnny Huntsman and they split off....

Thats the second best location in shreveport, imo. Pretty dang good. Preston is always my favorite, however.

When did Johnny get the hairpiece?

Kidding aside, St. Martinville of all places has one. Every once in a while I'll get a take and bake and throw it on the grill.
