Override all he wants but I’m not vaccinating a healthy 8 year old, simple as that. Everyone in his circle is fully vaccinated and a lot have had the third shot, so what’s the point? When it comes to my kid it is a hill I’ll die on, especially since we pay taxes for public schools.

Either of the 2 very flawed Republican candidates that ran against him would have been better. But pearl clutching Republicans are who put this guy in office twice.

This really draws a line in the sand for a lot of parents. For the life of me, I can’t figure why JBE and others like him insist on doing this. I’m not a conspiracy theorist and always laugh at those that are. But there is something very flawed about the government forcing a mandate on peoples children that wouldn’t even be affected by the virus if they were to catch it. What’s the benefit? I guess I can try to believe that it’s all a revenue generator for the companies that are lobbying for it, but is it worth the pushback that all of you parents are going to give? It doesn’t make sense to me.

Can someone redo that meme with more up to date wording?

"People need to worry less about their rights, and more about doing what I say." -GOV. Slimy arse Cock Sucker (JBE)

Maybe you should laugh at those folks. If Covid has told me anything is that conspiracy theories have a pretty high likelihood of being true.

I've had Covid twice and each time my family was in the same room with me for the 24 day quarantine. They both tested negative. It is very flawed and I wish I knew what the end goal was. Like I've mentioned before if its money give me a bill each month, but leave me and my family alone.

I’m assuming you typo’ed and meant ‘shouldn’t’. I don’t disagree with you. If the last 2 years have taught me anything, it’s that I have a good chance of being very wrong at times. I would have never guessed 2 years later we’d still be talking about Covid. I would have laughed at you for suggesting it. I would have laughed at you for thinking Joe f’n Biden would win the presidency.

I would have been absolutely wrong.

This is what the majority of parents will do and I’m honestly looking forward to it.

I’ve heard plenty of keyboard warriors whining for two years now. Now we’ll see people take a real stand.

IF this happens. I’m still skeptical that he’s stupid enough to do it. People like him are usually smart enough to know how far they can push people before there’s any real action.

What is the obsession with vaccinating children? They are neither the largest spreaders nor are they the most susceptible to negative effects of Covid. And even if they do spread it, who cares? Vaccines are available on every corner of this city for any adult who would want one.

This makes zero sense.

What grade level are these mandates going to apply to? Is it just to certain school systems?

I'm vaccinated and think they're a good idea for people 35+ but I'm not giving my kids one at this point.

I tend to think that Central will not enforce these mandates.

eta: they're not really mandates. They said anyone can opt-out. A big nothing burger.

Okay then.
