Money Hill acquired its name in the early 1800s. Legend has it that swashbuckling Barataria pirates and smugglers, perhaps even the notorious Jean Lafitte, buried some of their stolen loot at Money Hill.

WTF is Money Hill?
When I was growing up, it was a Tung Oil Tree Farm. When Camille came through and wiped out all the trees and industry, years later it became a really nice campground where a lot of my friends worked during the summer. The campground closed in 1980 due to the oil crisis.

And that’s why I don’t jog
People jog, get hit by cars
People ride bikes, get hit by cars
People sitting inside watching TV... don't get hit by cars

There’s certainly a lot of money up there now, and who knows if any are pirates or smugglers.

I see way more articles about people dying while running than while sitting on the couch
that's because they don't report heart attacks and such

I'm not saying the name of the company in case it was bad info but supposedly it was a sod installation company and the guy killed was a great dude.
