It's the hypocrisy of being "a man of God" but refusing to help his neighbor when they're in dire need.
ETA: I'm not trying to hate on him, but I can see why people would be pissed.

The article mentions that the church is inaccessible. If that's true then there isn't much to be done.
Edited to add: I think the guy is a clown but this just kinda seems like more faux outrage directed at rich people.
