India isn't exactly allies with us. Russia would smear that info everywhere if we hadn't made any landings at all. A more concise argument would be to say the 11 landing didn't happen and we actually got there later

My grandpa was chief engineer of the saturn iv-b. You can even see the pics of all 5 they crashed into the moon

I think there is a difference between not having the technology and not having the know-how. We have all we need to go back to the moon, we would just need to invest in it as a priority. Our technology is so much more advanced today, we could probably be much more safe and efficient.

I'm not totally willing to write off the Moon landing yet but I have had my doubts for a LONG time. Stuff just doesn't add up plus they had all sorts of reasons to lie about it.
But I will say this,,,for us to believe in the Moon landing it requires us to believe the two least trustworthy entities ever known to mankind...the government and the media. Not a crew I'd feel comfy hanging my hat on of late.

We just spent billions to send a robot to the moon. It supposedly got there and fell over. We could have easily sent an AstrNot in it's place for the same amount of money. We didn't because we CAN'T.

Haha, well I am not sure that I agree, but I understand why people believe this to be the case. The reality is we have the technology, its just not configured as it was in the 1960's for that specific purpose. We have not lost the know-how to go to the moon, we have lost the political will to do so...

Come on man. In the 60s a calculator was the size of a grand piano. We have more computing power in our phone than all of NASA in the 60s and supposedly landed on the moon with a makeshift lunar module made up of aluminum foil and pvc. I'm not buying it.

Then you are just looking for reasons to not accept the empirical evidence. The lunar lander was not makeshift, it was the height of 1960's technology. The computers in the 60s were more than powerful enough to make calculations for orbital mechanics. Stop and think about what you are saying, 20 years prior we built a computer to break the Enigma cipher. Which is infinitely harder than calculating orbital mechanics. But after 20 years of advancement in computers we could not build a machine to do orbital mechanics. See. Moore's Law.
Intergrated circuit was invented in 1958. We landed on the moon in 1969.
