I’m fine with dismissing crackpot schizophrenic people that claim to be probed.

How do we dismiss pilots that are the cream of the crop of humanity that have seen and sometimes chased unexplained things?

I'm about 3/4 of the way through this and Joe is getting beyond annoying with his commentary. He thinks he's presenting groundbreaking shite when he's just retarding the conversation.

Typical Joe Rogan. I don't see how you tiger droppings can listen to that schmuck.

The podcast was interesting and entertaining, regardless of whether the story’s true or not. Lazar mentioned how he was given written briefings that had some background of the project. He said that it was common for the government to include some specific false info in these briefings so that they could identify leakers. That sounded like an excuse that Lazar could use if some info didn’t check out.

It’s harder to explain how he knew the test flight schedules and was able to guide several friends to a spot where they could watch a craft do incredible things on 3 occasions. Maybe that’s been debunked.

It was all a test to see if Bob could keep quiet. He couldn’t.

Stuff You Should Know podcast recently released a podcast on this subject. It was better than JR

You should know you can't trust a guy to keep quiet who drives a jet engine car to work.

Answer:

Knowing Teller’s Strangelovian background, I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the man. But in this one case I feel for the guy. Like so many in Lazar’s sphere of influence, he was had. Maybe it was because he was 80 years old at the time and not as sharp, but perhaps he thought Lazar might be an excellent candidate for the proton beam project and made some calls. Things happened and Lazar gets called in for an interview. Catastrophes are seldom the result of a major, bad single decision, but usually a cascading series of unwise choices. Such was the case here.

quote:

Now it boggles my mind how someone with Lazar’s bankruptcy record would be granted any sort of clearance but perhaps it hadn’t been immediately unearthed. And maybe Teller passed on a crazy, glowing recommendation. And possibly Lazar had a previous Q clearance from Los Alamos. In any case, security guys visit Lazar’s home and check him out, they decide he’s their guy (at least for now), and he’s soon on a Janet flight to Groom on a very limited basis doing non-classified grunt work until his clearance is updated. In any case, if he didn’t already fully know, he does now that they’re operating a proton accelerator at Groom, and oh, BTW, they usually fire it up on Wednesday nights. Sounds like it’s time for a party to me!

quote:

Figuring out another’s motives is difficult, especially with Lazar. Specifically, I’m speaking of why the frick, WHY(??) did he decide to bring his friends out to see a Wednesday night test? It could be that he realized his clearance was going to fall through due to the bankruptcy. Or perhaps it was an attempt to prank his friend John Lear, who Lazar often made fun of for his UFO interests. Or maybe Lazar just thought he was smarter than all those security guys at Groom and no one would ever know. Or it could have been something as simple as wanting to impress his friends. Dunno. But in any case, he brought them all out.

The lights were the effects of a proton beam test.

Astronauts as well supposedly.

You cant look at something like the Phoenix lights and think nothing is going on.

It's been a while since I read about Lazar, so I cant remember the story. There was a good book I read years ago that talked about the rancher in Roswell where the craft supposedly went down. All sorts of weird shite was found.

I watched different clips of it.

Pretty interesting.

Not sure what to think.

The talk about the "Admiral Memo" was interesting.A conversation about a U.S. Admiral being told that he didn't have the clearance/right to see something in the hands of the private sector.

This guy is still at it? I remember Knapp interviewing this guy as a kid when I was growing up in LV. Was never sure of what to make of this guy.

Usually he's not bad, but when he has guests that get into the minutiae of technical details, he comes in and tries to dumb things down for an audience that is following the guest just fine.

Didn't the Trump administration release classified footage of two fighter pilots following some UFO that matched there every move and eventually flew away at impossible flight speeds.

I refuse to believe society would collapse because ETs were publicized. Sounds very Chicken Little-ish to me.

On the podcast they talked about a recent release referred to as the Tic Tac UFO where jets from the Nimitz filmed it. Lazar met with the jet Commander to try to explain what he saw. I've followed Lazar since his story got to the internet and I had access. The first interviews he did with Knapp I was a skeptic. But after seeing many of the things he claimed back then become true, it's clear he's not lying about being at Los Alamos and Area 51 doing reverse engineering. The podcast is worth watching. Even if you think he's full of it, you might start to be more open to what he's saying.

Throughout human history when a less advanced culture comes into contact with a technologically advanced culture, it has ended badly for the less advanced culture. Either a straight up military conquest, or internal disintegration as traditions and institutions fall apart.
