As a rule I listen to many points of view but Joe Rogaine is a fricking joke.

This doesn’t really make sense because one of Rogan’s big draws is that he doesn’t really have a point of view. He lets his guests talk and dish out theirs.

He may comment something or give his take every once in awhile, but he never shuts down conversation due to anything that’s said.

Loved Empire of the Southern Moon, even used it as something of a travel guide during a trip through the area last summer.

Book made me hate the Comanche, love the Whites, then love the Comanche and hate the Whites. Then I concluded everyone is evil and just enjoyed the book.

Exactly, he’s a podcast host, not a fricking historian or an expert on anything other than MMA. I personally think he does a great job and has a variety of viewpoints.

I will never understand why nearly every JRE interview needs to be posted on this board.

They aren’t. He produces 3-4 a week.

I don’t understand why you feel the need to comment on a topic you obviously couldn’t care less about

That Rogan had no clue as usual, just shows how out of touch he is with American history.

So he’s supposed to be knowledgeable about every topic that his guest talks about? That’s basically impossible since he talks to all different sorts of people

awesome book... learned some historical context regarding native americans, not just comanches, with plenty of emotional highs and lows.

Or why every JR thread turns into a debate on JR and not a discussing about the podcast topic

Just finished this book today. I really enjoyed it. The Comanches were freaking brutal. Getting scalped had to suck. All men at their nature are ruthless and brutal.
