I do not hire anyone late for an interview.
If you're 10 minutes early, then you have a chance.

If you’re early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late

If you're on time you're late.

I always thought 15 minutes early was the way to be until I started interviewing people. 15 minutes early is right when I'm trying to wrap up what I'm working on and run to the bathroom before the interview.

Show up 15 min late and make sure to wear shorts. Bring a bag of Cheetos to share with the person interviewing you as well.

Generally it is a good idea to sit in the booths on the bathroom side of the McDonald’s before your interview while you wait for the manager.

Try to get there about 30 mins early. That gives you time to finish off the beer and chew some Big Red before going in for the interview.

That is a logical absurdity.

If you show up really early. Just chill in your car then go in about 5 minutes early!

I would err towards 10 minutes early, personally. Once i showed up to an interview 5 minutes early. The receptionist gave me the floor and room number. I basically got lost and finally met my interviewer about 5 minutes late. I didn't get the job.

I blamed it on me being late even though I was early walking in the building.

Absolutely not. 15 minutes is actually preferred. You aren't rushed or panicking, and it allows you adequate time to gain your composure and organize your thoughts for the interview. In addition, it'll only afford you the opportunity to take a seat, grab a water/coffee, and relax some.

Honestly, 30 minutes, while early, isn't "too early" in my opinion. It only shows dedication and interest in the job. But remember, that's just my opinion. Some interviewers could be annoyed as they don't want to leave someone hanging for 30+ minutes.

15 minutes early is perfect. Arrive, take a piss, and bullshite with the receptionist. If you’re friendly with the receptionist/secretary before the interview, you have an advantage. Anything more than 10-15 mins early will make you wait too long and get nervous, or piss people off who have to entertain you instead of getting their work done.

You are probably correct. I been running my own business for awhile. This meeting is with the personnel director. They guy that will be my boss already spoke to him and it's almost guaranteed I get the job. I just didnt want to arrive to early.

If you are this autistic you probably aren’t getting the job.
