I follow STEM junkies on Twitter and they are angry and disappointed that J.K. Rowling actually follows science/biology in this particular case.

Saw that same commercial too. I also don’t remember all the details but do remember that part. I also remember thinking at the time, well no sh@t. I believe it was very obvious or stated somewhere in the commercial. It was certainly one of those, so this is where we are now moments.

If I was a woman, and went through all the shite they do with periods and childbirth and some dude decides to have a sex change and say he's now a woman, I'd be fricking pissed. He didn't earn that shite.

I always wondered when women were gonna become at odds with the trans folk. They're taking over their athletic events, taking awards away from them, and they're talking about real women's issues as if they were real women but women can't throw the "mansplaining" term at them without being a bigot. It was only a matter of time before women realize that the trans were going to take over their movement and they've been letting this shite go for a while.
I kind of wish I was a stand up comic when Jenner won that Espy because I had a good one. It was along the lines of "Jenner winning that award just proved to America something that needed to be shown and come to terms with. And what that is is simply this. Men really are better than women at just about everything and now we can throw 'being women' on that list"
