Atz was a pretty well known folk singer in his day. Used to take Jewel on tour with him when she was a child.

I cant relate to it but i think i kind of understand it.. if you are an internationally famous celebrity worth a half billion dollars, you probably want to date someone who has their own money and understands that world, and isnt freaked out or jealous when a fan comes up to you asking for a selfie or an autograph.. she would probably understand what it’s like to live life under a microscope.. it is probably why a Costner would want to date a Jewel as opposed to a ‘regular’ chick, why an Affleck might want to date/marry a JLo and on and on .

I saw Jewel in a very small venue. She had not yet fixed her teeth. There wasn't a guy there who didn't fall in love with her - just based on her sultry and stellar voice. "Who Will Save Your Soul" live in a small, intimate venue is a rare musical treat.
