I can't imagine being retarded enough to believe all that.

Planes don’t run on compressed air or jet fuel. But rather on curry

The sad thing isn't that people can believe what the OP was discussing.
It is that there is a vast population who is capable of seeing how absolutely absurd the compressed air idea is while talking, and in the same breath will accept that jet fuel can't melt steel beams, when it is equally as absurd a proposition.

Proclamations like this are almost always based on a small number of grains of truth.
The stoichiometric ratio of jet fuel is probably in the 14:1 to 15:1 range and turbo fans probably run at multiples meaning FAR more air than fuel. They run extremely lean. So it is fair say a turbo fan runs on 90+% air. Your car runs on ~85% air.
A high-bypass turbofan engine probably is more like 1000:1 but the majority of the air does not go into the combustion chamber it bypasses it. That air is compressed by both the plane moving through the air and the fan. So it is accurate to say a high-bypass turbofan engine "runs on" 99.9% compressed air. BTW the majority of their thrust comes from the bypassed air.
The overall statement is correct but his understanding of the facts and conclusions made from them are incorrect. If it weren't for the jet fuel there would be no compressed air, and they certainly can't carry enough compressed air to meet the needs.
I never know if these CT people are just ignorant or are actually fishing with some twisted facts to catch the ignorant. I think this one may be the latter.

Wait until they find out about RAMJETs and SCRAMJETs

As a matter of fact, jets do run on over 90% compressed air…and the gasoline engine in your vehicle does too…
Don’t twist the facts into something thst they aare not, though.

The first picture under the tweet is an ifunny meme. The tweet has a laughing emoji. I have never seen anyone post this before much less think it’s being serious.
