Sorry you had to go through all of that Chris.
Kids can be so cruel.
It wasn't anything that hurt my feelings. It was usually when I was arguing with other kids and probably deserved it to some degree, but I just didn't like the idea that some frickhole decided to claim everyone who had a certain condition as "his kids". So when you tell someone you have MD, they automatically think "Jerry's kids"
It just opened up the door for comebacks like "tell your daddy he can blow me.. And by your daddy I mean Jerry Lewis bitch".

I had the Internet through BIX in my home back in the late 80s. Usenet, FTP, and email was about all it was.
Did you ever email anyone in 1997 or before? Because if you say you did 08 will not believe you.

frick Jerry Lewis. Some of yall are going to frick with me about it, but having Muscular Dystrophy, I never liked Jerry Lewis. When he did the MD telethon and called all kids with MD "Jerry's Kids" people use to frick with me (if I got in an argument with my friends or something, they would could always throw that out at me)..
So you hung out with shitty kids, and you blame Jerry Lewis for that?
You've got some seriously misdirected anger issues.

Laws are different in every state. In Louisiana children recieve a certain percentage of forced heirship. He wouldnt have been able to do that in Louisiana unless the kids murdered him.
Lol, wrong

A. Forced heirs are descendants of the first degree who, at the time of the death of the decedent, are twenty-three years of age or younger or descendants of the first degree of any age who, because of mental incapacity or physical infirmity, are permanently incapable of taking care of their persons or administering their estates at the time of the death of the decedent.

They can contest the will.
True, but likely only the attorneys will benefit.
The text specifically names all of his sons and their descendants (including the one that had died), so proving that he was not of sound mind to make the will would be hard.
Also he was married to SanDee since 1983 (34 years) and adopted Danielle some time shortly after her 1992 birth, so undue influence is likely not to be proved either.
Word of warning to those who are waiting for their parents to croak so they can cash in: nothing is guaranteed. Warren Buffett has made it clear his kids will get nothing (or next to nothing) in his will--all his estate is going to charity.

Forced heirship in la is only mandatory up to a certain age or disability. Adult kids are out if the testator leaves a legitimate will.

You didn’t email anyone 20 years ago dick bag
20 years ago was my first fall semester at LSU. Dr. James Bolner in my intro to POLI SCI class made it a requirement that we each send him multiple emails from our PAWS accounts with screenshots and information from various websites like the US & La State Congressional websites.
It’s totally conceivable he did email. My Dad was sending emails the year before from our home computer before I knew WTF the internet even was (1996). I remember someone asking me for my email addy and I gave them my IP. LOL.
Dickbag.

And I was a junior in college and yes while there was email, we didn’t use for any of our classes. Also, dial up was all the rage.
My point was, Chris didn’t email MDA 20 years ago about something Jerry Lewis said on his telethon. I will stand by that statement.

Email was painfully possible in 1997 and 10 years before that, even if you weren't in university. Compuserve, Genie, Internet through Bix, etc. Jeez. ETA: Goddam, how could I have forgotten Delphi? I was on all that shite.

I like how you just make assumptions and pass it on as the truth. Brilliant.

I think his teen kids would be proud to know that their dad picks online fights with a dude with MS.
