Heat soak is/was an issue on the Z06/Z07 cars, but Imthought they had a cure.
I've heard of a few blown motors, but some of those were definitely on the owners.
If there are inherent problems w/ the car Bondurant will find 'em.
The car in my sig was sold after my last session.

That's what they get for using a supercharger
Turbo LS7 would have been the shite.

From what I've read, I think you may be right.
It was a factor when I decided, tbh. That, and the fact that it would've taken forever to get the exact car I wanted.

I don't know how many supercars run superchargers, but I bet it isn't many.
I would very much prefer a big NA motor to a supercharged one. Turbo(s) would be much better.
A direct injected compound turbo big motor would be

Are you seriously suggesting that James May and Richard Hammond don't understand engineering? Jeremy might not be as up on it, but those two know their shite.

I like superchargers OK. The car I have now has one, and I had one on the Thunderbird I had years ago. No lag is pretty sweet.
No replacement for displacement.

I've read that Bondurant has had several and seen several more on various forums. I'm not sure which forum you're on, but it obviously isn't a good one. Looks like Vette owners are just really good at making excuses to justify owning them.
So we've established that a handful out of 10s of thousands equals "left and right"? Okay. Don't buy one. But I'll continue enjoying the frick out of mine.

AFAIK, the issues have been only on a few the Z06 cars.
Enjoy your car, it is bulletproof.
