Wish they would strictly zone all section 8. If I'm parish president I run on two things.
We are going to take all of westwego and it will be where all "affordable" housing is required to be. Keep east bank free of these slum properties.
Second, I have a force and or inmates that do nothing but pick up litter and trash. JP is slowly starting to look like Chalmette... while you're at this, a code enforcement.
This in turn would change resident make up to what it should and could be, and result in less crime and countless other positives. Your a product of your environment hang out and live amongst trash it's all you'll ever be.
