It’s been on both sides of the aisle too lately.
GD Dems want to mandate virus protections on a federal level damn the consequences & fudging Republicans are one with federal law enforcement grabbing protesters off the street.
Neither side willing to acknowledge the freedoms they may be sacrificing in the long term.

If this case was assigned to Janice Clark I would be shocked if she granted an injunction against a Democratic governor. Ask any attorney in EBR if Janice is biased.

Plaintiff has standing. He has most probably provable injury. The problem for him will be how the judge would intepret the limits of the Governor's authority in regards to 29 - 721.
It should be challenged so as to set limits in the future. Edwards, along with other Governors have assumed almost dictatorial power in their states. Limits have to be set.

Cleary Tavern is owned by the guy who owns the Bar Dart Leagues on the East Bank in Jefferson Parish. He used to own the Gas Station. He basically buys shithole bars, bases all of his Dart Teams out of the bar, juices up the sales figures because of it and then tries to sell said bar at a profit. Cleary Tavern used to be Bugsy's Hideaway, it's in the back of a strip mall just off Vets and Cleary. Moby's is on Vets a couple of blocks of Bonnabel. It used to be where Moby Dicks was in the late 90s and early 2000s. It's not a bad bar, but their rent is high for the square footage because it's on Vets. They are probably in a tough spot because of the rent. The owner of Cleary Tavern has had to shut down his 2 dart leagues because of the virus and the Dart Leagues while making him a nice chunk of change are likely the only thing that keeps Cleary Tavern open along with Video Poker.
