I will never give my name and blood sample to a government agency especially right now

Just like 99% of clinical trials. Research sites take data confidentiality very seriously because you can be barred from research if you do not protect that data.

We will collect your name, contact info, and date of birth to make sure that testing results are delivered to the correct person.
We collect demographic information like age, gender, race, and ethnicity to help public officials understand who has been most impacted by COVID-19.
However, your personal information (like name and contact info) will NOT be shared outside of Ochsner.
Your testing information will tell us how widespread COVID-19 has been across communities in New Orleans.
It can still be tracked back to you & it also doesn’t specify use outside of Ochsner

I lived next door to the Ochsners growing up. You can trust them.

Just make sure you stop going to the doctor and ever having any medical screenings done

I use a fake name and someone else's blood

I’m really not like that, I just don’t trust antibody tests with reports that most aren’t accurate
Also since it’s too early to know if you can be reinfected what’s the point?
I will also not do anything willingly to help Ochsner

My BIL on my wife’s side works in big pharma and told me that. I consider him a reliable source.

But only by approved research personnel (likely only the Principal Investigator and 1 or 2 collaborators) who have the identifier keys.

If known at this time, this use outside of ochsner would have to be specified in the informed consent document and/or the ICD will state that de-identified data could be used for future IRB-approved research.

Do we have any idea as to the accuracy of the test they will be using?
I think last time when they did some small testing a short while ago they used Abbott’s test. I’d doubt they shifted who they’re in bed with.

I figured the gif would be an obvious sign that it was a joke, but
