It’s because all the kids are getting their hands on it because they’re stealing it from gas stations you dumbass, it’s not for people like you who claim to use it innocently

Bad example because we all know exactly how much caffeine and nicotine there are in those items. You have no way of knowing how much of tianeptine is in what he takes because it is not regulated or produced in a reliably consistent manner. It may look like a pill or capsule, but that doesn't make it a legit medication.

You're wrong. I'm not talking about gas station pills.

Reptuable online vendors sell it pure, by weight.

You know exactly how much you're getting.

It sounds like you need to just go get your weed card like all the other bath salt addicts have done.

Not surprising.

Dude has exactly zero principles. He is a completely transactional politician.

Don’t blame this just on Landry. He simply signed a bill that passed through the legislature.

No one in political positions in this state is willing to address real issues.

It's similar to Kratom, in both effects and how it's sold.

I made the mistake of thinking that was harmless like CBD and I can tell you from personal experience, if you start taking kratom every day it will frick you up. Anything that binds to opiod receptors is insanely addictive. Kratom and probably this stuff aren't "clean" like prescription opiates, there's a bunch of other garbage thrown in there that has other effects

Yes taking Kratom or Tianeptine every day will cause problems. Once a week is perfectly fine.

I'd prefer if the state would let people make their own decisions.

Gas stations/smoke shops. And YES, Tianeptine has almost the exact same effect as Oxycodone. Euphoria and all. According to some, it actually works better than Oxy/Hydro. Tianeptine is NOT an opioid or narcotic, but bonds to opioid receptors. Just like when some extreme pastor in Ascension Parish made a social media video stating that Kratom was a narcotic, it was banned like a week later. I'm guessing this is a similar situation. Plus, smoke shops/gas station-smoke shops are making a FORTUNE off of it (tianeptine). I'm sure that has alot to do with it as well. Tianeptine and Kratom (which is garbage) may be alot of things, but they're NOT narcotics. At least they never used to be.
