DACA folks cannot receive gov't loans or grants, so everything is paid out of pocket.

The problem is the precedent this sets. Just get in and hang out for a while, and eventually you'll be cleared to enjoy life as an American, welfare benefits and all

what precedent is that? these people didn't decide to come to america. That choice was made for them, and they've been here their whole lives. Should you be held accountable for the choices your parents make?

Thats great, but what about the black and white kids that are citizens that live in poverty. I bet they wish someone would set up a scholarship fund for them.

this mechanism already exists on multiple levels.

DACA people were educated as children in the US, so they all speak english. They've all graduated HS and are either in college or finished college, in the military or honorably discharged. You're not very informed, are you?

It's staggering the amount of misinformation casually thrown around about DACA. But I guess you could say that about any political buzz topic

Damn, Democrats desperate for votes.

It's so sad, to see a party sell their soul for Illegals, so they can scurry up some votes.

They are trying to turn Tejas Blue.

When Tejas is turned Blue, this Country will be fricked.

It would be nice if people cared this much about the poor citizens of the USA. There are a lot of poor black and white kids that could use the help.

No need to waste it on Asians, they are smart and get academic scholarships.

I don't know...investing in the best and brightest makes more sense to me. At least for government money. This is private charity so he can help who he wants.

Both of these are happening faster than anyone thinks.

Look it's his money he can do what he wants with it but unless he has a similar scholarship fund for American Citizens it's clear he doesn't care about them.

What like the bs that you and masterag are peddling?
quote:

Dreamers" don't have a path to citizenship under DACA

Do you even watch the news that is exactly what the libs want. They want to flip Texas and then it’s over

Also once they get their citizenship then it’s “family reunification” why they must reunite here rather than their country of origin I don’t know

quote:

They've all graduated HS and are either in college or finished college, in the military or honorably discharged.

Absolutely false. Daca kids have a dramatically higher rate of high school dropout than the average CITIZEN

I never said whether I think they should have a path to citizenship or not. Nor did I deny that is what dems want. Not sure why you're freaking out on me

At least he puts his money where is mouth is, however, millions of Americans are crushed by education debt, and were sold pipe dreams by congress, parents, their schools, etc.

Do we care about them as much? Or no?

Yes it is. Otherwise, the loans wouldn't exist.

You obviously were posting in agreement with masterag who was stating that.

Also stating that daca doesn’t have a path to citizenship is as close misinformation as possible given that is the entire debate right now. It’s what typical libs do. They put a kernel of truth to try to seem reasonable (
and then say the slippery slope argument is a fallacy. they then go about Actively doing the thing that conservatives are screaming about
