Workin in Bay st Louis today and jeeps were everywhere. Lots of 4 doors. Does anyone own 2 door jeeps any more ? TJ tomorrow

Note that I just said they were the douchiest ones in town at the moment. Every time there a large collection of folks who gather here, whether it's a fair or a car rally...it's a shite show. The fishing tournaments aren't too bad.

I Ike BSL. Get a crowd there and it can be fun. Pirate day in the bay was ok. Nothing spectacular, but fun

The ideal axle to axle measument for rock crawling is 120 inches. The longer wheel base of the four door means you can climb more trails than a non-stretched two door. An automatic transmission is also preferred by hard core rock crawlers because flipping over backwards tends to frick your shite up.

I chose the automatic because you can still put it in manual mode and essentially paddle shift if you wanna hang in one gear of choice.
I used to be in the 2 door jeeps are the only jeeps... but the only legitimate advantage they have offroading is factory breakover angle. So, when it's not my daily driver, I will sink some fun money into it to gain that advantage.

Also better for potential damage when in water/mud. The advantages to a modern automatic outweigh the cool factor of a manual. I do miss my on road stick shift driving tho 100%
