Looks like Grand Wagoneer is not going away, just the regular Wagoneer. It's like Tahoe/Escalade, Wagoneer being the lesser model. Grand Wagoneer is getting a facelift for next year.

They out priced themselves…
Over 90k for a Jeep. Frick that…Still has that Chrysler stigma..

They aren't cancelling it, they're just rolling it into the grand wagoneer brand

GM is the best available.
Speak for yourself Baw, GM sucks. They’ve been having multiple problems with their v8’s too. Plus every soccer mommy has a Tahoe or Yukon in school drop off line..trying to keep up with the herd.
As far as the Wagoneer…epic fail. First, it’s just ugly as hell. They tried way too hard to make a big arse suv look like a Jeep. It’s ungainly & awkward. The limited one looks even worse with the chrome-trimmed windows, etc. Reliability is always suspect on a Stellantis vehicle, but 100K for this?!??? Lol

The French and Italians can F up a wet dream, what makes anyone think they could fix Chrysler?

I have a GW 2023. I’ve had no issues with it. Lots of room and good riding highway car. Price tag would be dead set around 95k for a new one and not 110+

Dumb.
That said, Infiniti replaced the 3.5L in the QX60 with a 2.0L twin turbo for its 2026 "upgrade"
Oh, and that 450 HP QX80? Gone is the 5.6L V8 - replaced by a 3.5L twin turbo.

Durability is a pretty big thing.

I see one on a rare occasion but not like Suburbans and Excursions.

I’d feel better if Jeep just switched to bicycles. Less moving parts and for things to go wrong.
Sure they’d manage to frick that up too though.

A few years ago, I think it was 2023, I was on a business trip to Tucson with some colleagues for a week and they rented me a Grand Wagoneer to drive. From the moment I picked it up at the airport, I was in love, that was until I looked up the price and saw I was like $100K. I don’t care how nice it is, I can’t bring myself to spend six figures on a vehicle.

Yet it’s Toyota that has the second worst reliability in Consumer Reports….just barely ahead of the hybrid Fords.

The thing that is important to understand about the Toyota turbo V6 issue is it was a manufacturing issue and not an engineering issue. The former proved easy to fix where the latter is often incredibly expensive to the point manufacturers don't bother, that is why for example there are so many Ford 5.4l 3Vs on the road and in the shop, they just kept making them.

A lot of people say that this might not be the case since non-recalled models and repaired models are also seeing main bearing failures too. They also had a quiet part number change for some of the thrust bearings in 2025.
It’s very GM-esque for Toyota to not recall the hybrid variants even though they are failing too…and to quietly change manufacturing and make subtle design updates but still not recalling all bad motors.

Yeah I would take the twin turbo Toyota and risk the main bearing failure than have a brand new 5.4L Triton 3V. I still can’t figure out what Ford was thinking with that thing. They had a 4V in house that was decent, but they decided to put a worse version in the most popular vehicle in the world.
IMO they made up for it with the latest 5.0L V8.
I’d go with the Ford Coyote V8, the GM L84 5.3L V8 (not the L83), or the GM L8T 6.6L V8 right now over any other gas motor out. They aren’t perfect (the L8T is legit good) but they are the best right now.
Not an Ecoboost fan even though they rip. Not really sold quite yet on the Turbomax GM although I hear good things. The Ford 7.3L V8 has potential though.

There are a lot of stupid people out there but not many so stupid they’ll pay six figures for a fuggin stellantis vehicle.

Imagine paying 100,000 for a vehicle and then every day when u get in the badge on steering wheel says… Jeep.

That thing is gutless. It won't pull a greased string out of a cat's arse.
The only redeeming thing about it is they didn't stick a CVT back in it.
