Levi’s
The most inconsistent cut jeans. Regardless of buying the same style and size, each pair i would buy would be cut completely different.
I've been buying Lucky Brand Coolmax jeans for a few years now. 1) they are stretchy and fit well. 2) they breathe incredibly well, which is vital for Louisiana weather.

If you were around in early to mid 90's, Girbaud are back in style
Sweet. Best jeans ever, although my Girbaud years were in the mid/late 80s.
Girbaud jeans, Vaurnet sunglasses. I was so cool.

I remember them being nice jeans until they went full blown urban wear in early 2000. I'd wear them if the normal looking jeans could be found.

What’s a good nice every day pair of jeans that can be worn with a polo? Not looking for the skinny/slim fit but also not looking for dad jeans either.
I wear almost exclusively Levi's 511, but they are "slim". The stretch that is in pretty much all jeans today makes slim comfortable. I usually buy them new-with-tag on Poshmark for half what I would pay in-store.

Madewell are my favorites.

I haven't liked Levi's since they changed their cuts and moved their cut and sew operations overseas (2003). Fit has changed and denim has gotten worse than it was back in the 80s and 90s.
This. Last couple of pairs I had didn't last very long. The whole point of blue jeans was to have a highly durable pair of working pants. The current Levi's are anything but that.
