This is one of the greatest scientific accomplishments of our time
Their dirty little secret is that it shouldn't have needed to be. If we hadn't been cutting Virology research and study for the past 40+ years, we would have been way ahead of the curve. Every administration during that time frame has to share the blame.
On top of that, every leading Virologist in the country was warning of an issue like Covid and the fact we were not prepared. Every year they begged for funding. Every year they got less and less. The government didn't trust the experts then, when they didn't have a need for them, but now they do?

Hey guys did you know that the vaccine will be both safe, and effective?
If everyone in government leadership are already convinced that the vaccine(s) are both “safe, and effective”, and they fully expect approval (even as hearing and discussions are going on), then why are we pretending that there is an approval process? Sounds to me like it’s a foregone conclusion?
This whole thing just doesn’t pass the smell test.

.@LouisianaGov: 'I do hope everyone will take advantage of the opportunity to be vaccinated. (Pfizer) vaccine will go to tier 1 hospitals for (healthcare workers and staff there) and EMS workers' #lagov

Long term effects won't be known for, well, a long time so I'm a no for now. I'm comfortable with my personal situation.

Next in line will be nursing home residents about one week behind Pfizer vaccine as soon as Dec. 17 #lagov
^Moderna vaccine
CVS / Walgreens contracted by Feds to administer to nursing home residents

I’ll let people be in the first few go rounds with the vaccine and see if they have any internal damage. Then I might think about getting it.

I understand not rushing to take the vaccine, but this specific mindset doesnt make sense

Relax, baw.
This is the same government that has 100% competently run unemployment programs during the pandemic with no problems whatsoever. They're also the same government that just oversaw the most secure election in world history that had no fraud or incompetence issues at all.
Naturally, they are well-versed medical and Virology experts, too. Do not worry!

What doesn’t make sense is forcing a vaccine on a healthy 40 year old for a virus that has a 99% survival rate

I am. They’re already asking if I want to get the vaccine.
Nope, not yet. Not gonna be a guinea pig.

In the history of the world, there has never been a vaccine for a coronavirus. Yet three different companies have developed, (independently) separate versions of a vaccine for a coronavirus, in less that a year, no less?
Also, let’s not forget that the ‘doses’ of these vaccines were mass produced and put into storage nearly 6 months ago, well before the ‘extensive’ testing and proving even took place?
So they mass produced a product at great expense and have it ready to go. Does anyone believe that if the testing wasn’t 100% successful that they would just toss this shite into the trash and start over?
Again, this just doesn’t pass the smell test.

The vaccine was created in February or March.
I believe they have a formula for a vaccine that works because this isn't some odd off the wall virus.
