6 ft apart in these big 4a/5a schools literally wont be possible without platooning kids and higher twice the amount of teachers.

And the children will still be in buses with no seat belts. That is much more of a threat to their safety and can have parents ticketed or jailed if they would do that in their personal vehicles.

she can keep her kids home and home school them or allow for virtual learning.

They should have those kids stay home and watch their class have fun from their laptops.

As a high school teacher who takes immunosuppressants twice a day, I'm ready to go back either full normal or blended (it would be interesting to see if the benefits from smaller class sizes can partially offset the drawbacks from only 2 or 3 days in person). I don't think fully online is very effective.

Bus situation could be a nightmare for both the schools and kids. Schools because they’ll have to pay a shite ton of extra $. Kids because they very well may have to come and go in waves.

Luckily my kindergartener is going to school with mom and with me working at home I guess I can pick up and drop off my middle schooler

I’m not sure either of my kids have ever been on a school bus. LOL

Are the kids going to stay in the same class all day and the teachers rotate?

I don’t see how that’s even possible. The amount of schedule possibilities is pretty much endless. Especially in big schools.

They’d have to basically eliminate electives. I guess they could also possibly be in a group for core classes and then move around in stages for electives
