Trumps corona virus task force recommended that Louisiana go back to phase 1. So I would guess JBE sticks it to Trump (who wants to close down Louisiana) and keeps us at least at phase 2. I’m damn tired of Trump trying to shut down America. He’s killing more people than this virus ever has.

Im not exactly sure if we ever go to phase 3 until people truly revolt in some way

My sister works at a hospital in Lafayette and they are currently overwhelmed with Covid patients. Don’t have the staff to treat really anything else right now. I asked her if this thing will improve soon. She said the infectious disease doctor told them it may plateau or go down slightly but they expect it to get even worse once schools open up. Basically 2 weeks to a month after schools reopen they are expecting another surge. I asked if they should be believed and she said that they correctly predicted this current surge in cases so they’re mostly likely right unfortunately

We are in a modified phase 2
JBE will continue to call it Phase 2 as he shuts down specific businesses (bars).
Gyms will be next but he will not do a proclamation calling it Phase 1 because he would have to shut casinos down.

I feel if he Announces that we will be staying in phase 2 for several more weeks people and businesses will start to revolt.
