I wonder if establishments will have signs on doors saying if you tested postive for COVID-19 in the past XXX weeks/months you must take a test or temp...or wear a mask

I wonder if people that tested positive will have to wear a certain colored wrist ban...

That would be some crazy shite..

Are you saying that they should stay closed??
I'm saying the exact opposite. The Acadiana area has a very small footprint in this corona shite. I used Lafayette as my example, because it is the most populous parish in the area.

Oh Richards ... like entirely too close to my house. Do yourself a favor and get the gumbo!!! And on M/T/Th you can get half priced ordered of boiled shrimp -- man oh man I'm headed there when this stuff is "allowed"

Sadly never went to Cajun Claws -- we have our own crawfish so we just do that at home.

That's what I assumed but then second guessed my understanding.

They have set 2 dates and keep pushing them back. I don't even know if I trust the dates anymore.

Will restrictions eventually relax? Sure. With that being said we are a long way from returning to "normal" in my opinion

That's fine if it means they will trust people to not act normal, as in exactly how they acted before this. It's not fine if it means they extend the emergency status indefinitely and use the law to prevent assemblies, school, etc.

right, but the mouth breathers want peace of mind that the "stay at home order gets lifted in may" although that will be essentially meaningless as everything will still be closed

Hell ya..lets all go party in Laffy...everyone that lives in an area that's closed will be flocking to the areas that are open....that should work out well

We’re putting up a wall before reopening. That should have been done a long time ago anyway.

You get that when you test positive. Then, you have to get four negative tests before they'll let you do anything. They signify this by adding a negative sign at a right angle to one of the legs of the positive sign each time you test negative until all four are filled in.

ETA: How did you not see that coming?

The flaw in that is, if things change, then people give them shite for reneging. The current measures last until the start of May so I don't think there's any need to start giving dates at this point. Nor do I think it was wise for Cantrell to extend things further without the additional data that will come in over the next week or so.

I would be very surprised if, by May 1st/4th, commercial businesses aren't opened back up excluding restaurants, bars, gyms, movie theaters or basically any place where you have scores of people lumped together.
