Time to move Jazzfest outside of NO.
I have always preferred Biloxi Jazz Fest

I'd say you can't be this stupid, but you're you.

Can’t have anyone having fun now can we?

I agree. I’m as pro vax as they come and think cancelling events, mask mandates and socially distancing at this point is retarded. There is a tool out there that works and it’s not cancelling jazzfest.

I was thinking Jefferson Parish or even St. Tammany Parish.
But the MS Gulf Coast would be happy to have the event. Frankly, the Coast should capitalize on this.

And Latoya will have her hand out for Fed bailout money for the city in a month.

I hope y’all are prepared for the week that is about to ensue. Beware of the Ides of August.

Im seriously asking. It’s your people, your party doing these things. What is the logic?
I couldn’t imagine seeing the world through that lens.
My people. Lmao

It’s honestly amazing to try and think of the logic.
I don't think it's difficult at all to see this coming. Shell is the main corporate sponsor, and all corporations must be woke and seen as having complete compassion for all people or else. Think of their ESG score if they sponsored a super spreader event! Even if their higher ups didn't want to cancel, I would bet there was pressure from somewhere.
Also, a festival like this is a logistical nightmare and doesn't just come together overnight. I've helped plan events on a much smaller scale, and it's a wonder it all comes together sometimes. You can't just wait until the last minute.

The politicians don’t have to do anything because crazy libs are trying to out virtue each other by canceling shite months away

So they cite indoor mask mandates for not being able to have an outdoor music fest. Okay.

It is also amazing they simply think “rescheduling for later works”. Covid isn’t going anywhere. They will be rescheduling in perpetuity

2024 canceled due to the Omega variant spread.
Posted on 8/8/21 at 2:28 pm to DownSouthJukin
Hate to break it to you but outside of a few nearby states, nobody is traveling to jazz fest in mobile or Biloxi. The big draw for tourists is it’s in NOLA

It’s why I bought Stones tix here in FL. LA is such a broken state.
