They have put out pictures of this kid in dresses and ballerina tutus at 2 and 3 years old. 2 year olds dress how their parents want to dress them. Period.

I’ll put it this way: when I was in kindergarten, I could write with both hands. My teacher and mother forced me to choose a hand to write with. I chose my right hand. From that day forward my teacher and mom would slap my left hand every time I wrote with it.

Guess what: I chose wrong. Everything else I do with my left hand (save for eating). I’m also left foot oriented. My handwriting is atrocious. If I frick up that decision at 5, how the frick am I supposed to believe that a 5 year old can come to a decision that drastic?

I have nothing but sympathy for Jazz, but frick Jazz’s parents and frick her Josef Menegele of doctors who just see her as an experiment. Jazz’s parents first reaction to this was to fricking call Barbara Walters. That’s what type of scumbags they are. If Jazz hurts herself, then we should call for her parents and doctors heads.

To a certain extent, of course. They aren’t going to physically dress themselves. My three year old daughter begs to wear Disney Princess dresses everyday, so she expresses a desire to wear certain clothes. Not that I’m condoning dressing a boy in girls clothing at that age.

I just don't understand how this is not child abuse... when a child is this young, they do not have the ability to make rational decisions. Their body and mind are still growing/developing. This kid did not possess the capability to make any sort of rational decision, as science has proven rationality comes much later in development.

What a ridiculous, made-up term.

That is unconscionably wrong.

They have an older daughter, so I am sure there were princess dresses and tutus in the dress up box or toy bin.

If the kid wants to wear them, whatever, but giving a child hormones to stop puberty because he puts them on and says he is a girl is ridiculous. Like others have said, I do think the parents have some issues and want fame.

I watch the show and it does seem like Jazz is happy with the decision, but I'm sure that was just pushed on her her whole life. She also has had severe bouts of depression, but that could also be unrelated.

It is child abuse. Its reclassification as 'normal' was purely for political reasons. Not medical.

I saw an episode where Jazz said some bullshite about remembering when she was 2 that she thought she was a girl. I think she actually believes this, but this is a planted memory by her parents. They’re just evil IMO.
