VooDoo is already scheduled for the last weekend of October. Buku fest may move to October as well. I think that’s when the French quarter fest is also. could be four weekends of festivals.

Not for nothing, but October is also ACL in Austin, which I'm sure will piss people off because they will have to choose. ACL is the first two weekends...

Exactly

And there’s got to be a way to get on track. There were a ton of people there for champions day. I should’ve renewed my license

Even though it is on the down slope of hurricane season we did have one in late October last year.. So it's not like it can't happen..

Who's gonna tell them this crap will still be going on in October? Destroya isn't going anywhere

This year is an election cycle for the Mayor of New Orleans. Where else will Latoya be able to campaign for reelection?

It will be interesting if everything is still closed and she is running for office.

With everything closed in normal times, she would be laughed out of town.

But anything is possible.

Not a bad idea when you consider how hot jazzfest usually is. Then again it could still be blazing in October in Louisiana so you never know.

No facts to back this up but I’m guessing last weekend of September has been hotter than last weekend of April the last few years.
