Of all the places to choose to start a multiple points terrorist attack on the USA they choose the greater New Orleans area?
USCG didn't expand. Could just be a shootout on the ferry as both are on that side right now.

As of now it’s nothing.

Imagine for a moment the absolute shitstorm that would ignite if he had accomplices and they tried blowing up a barge in the river. People would absolute lose their shite with the FBI.

Wait is it a shoot out or an IED?

As of now it is unknown.
USCG isn't going to shut down the river on a whim

If this is related and true then all the authorities need cleaned out. They were acting really sus the other day for them to come out and say all is good.
Posted on 1/2/25 at 9:10 pm to momentoftruth87
So really no new info today?
Posted on 1/2/25 at 9:11 pm to momentoftruth87
On one hand I think it’s nothing. On the other hand, as fightin tigers said, the coast guard isn’t going to shut down the river over nothing. On my third hand, it’s totally possible this is just an overreaction to something else in the aftermath of a terrorist attack.

I didn't think anyone had less rhythm than me.
I stand corrected.

Idk if I trust the lone wolf. I mean my eyes are so open to so many things now that it’s crazy. And I feel crazy for feeling that way but …

Everyone’s radars are on high alert right now. Good reason to be cautious but this one is nothing.

I would put this as the most likely scenario.
Planting bombs on river barges isn't exactly within the ISIS modus operandi. They want to kill a mass number of civilians and wreak terror on the population, not target infrastructure (typically).
Who knows though.

Out of curiosity where are yall seeing USCG closed the river?
Posted on 1/2/25 at 9:17 pm to Impotent Waffle
Havent seen anything official yet myself. I live in mid city though and there were sirens going off for over half an hour, even some now.
Posted on 1/2/25 at 9:17 pm to Impotent Waffle
Not seeing where it’s closed but can confirm they are near Algiers Point and there is no current traffic in that section of the river

Only thing I’ve seen locally is high police presence near the Algiers ferry. That could be normal nola crime in Algiers though.

I never fell for Covid and that who time frame and all of the crap they fed to the public really makes me question any and everything from “them”.
Sad I guess. But no one is looking out for any of us. Or rather not many.
