Cluster ordinance would make sense too. But I just don’t think that’s BESS parts flying. I’ve seen batteries blown up before, and never seen anything like that.

The premise of the media is that we have the ability to prevent all attacks and that a successful one must stem from someone’s failure. Now it is possible that someone F’ed up but it’s emotional infantilism to assume it. If someone involved entered illegally, that’s obviously a policy failure but all this speculation that the mayor or police failed is silly season because Nola has people walking on Canal and 50 other streets. You can’t lock down an entire city and you don’t want to live in a world that won’t assume reasonable risk.

It was an explosive device with fireworks added for theatrics of a NYE terror attack, in my opinion
Placed perfectly in front of Trump hotel and in conjunction with the New Orleans attack which also had an EV Truck and explosives

The driver is apparently dead and, so far, the only casualty from the incident. Seven bystanders had minor injuries, authorities said. Determining what was behind the explosion is the key focus of the probe.
An official briefed on the probe told ABC News that the Tesla Cybertruck had a load of fireworks-style mortars onboard. Investigators are urgently working to determine a motive and whether the driver intended to set off an explosion and why.
