Anyone know to whom this motorcade belongs? I've been stuck behind a four bus motorcade with 10+ police car escort. On-ramps are blocked. It has been at least 60 miles.
Can't find any info on 511/waze/etc. Google maps just shows an 8 minute backup in it's wake.
Thoughts?

Yes, its National Law Enforcement Officers week in Washington. There have been several events in the Metro area. President addressed them yesterday. Many officers stay out in the suburbs where the hotel rates are cheaper. On 395 yesterday morning, I counted 20 buses with motorcyle escort. Nothing new, happens this time every year. Hug a cop today

Thanks for the info. After searching the schedules/locations of President Obama, President elect Trump, the First Lady, VP Biden, VP elect Pence, Senator Kaine, and Gov McAuliffe...my curiosity was really piqued.
