Does he own a home in NOLA?
Posted on 6/29/22 at 7:42 pm to MrLSU
It's his counterparts that are causing the mess.

Screw that cocksucker. Maybe he and Clancy Dubois can get carjacked at the same time on their way from a democrat fundraising event.

I don't understand how he can still attend LSU games and not be spit on. I'd give him an earful for sure. Dude has helped spread lies that have caused irreparable harm to our country and here locally as well.

James, much like many of his generation, still think his brand of blue dog is still a thing in the democratic party.
Actually, there is a Blue Dog Caucus within the party in Congress.

But, would you? Would you really?

You could make NOLA the most conservative place on the planet tomorrow and nothing would change overnight It's going to take decades to fix that shite hole of a city
Nah. When I first moved there and you see the incidents, it was one area. Or some tourist gets mugged between 3-4 am downtown. That was avoidable.
Now you got to watch your back getting gas in broad daylight or unloading groceries in broad daylight. Crime has skyrocketed since Latoya. It wasn’t like this for some time post Katrina.

A real Catholic Blue Dog Democrat is a right wing populist in today’s world

our city is, quite simply, not working
He’s right. Most people in New Orleans don’t work.

His letter is pretty vague. Doesn’t even list the “problems.” If he really wanted to make a difference he could have been a lot more specific about problems and solutions. My guess is he is afraid of getting cancelled.

Yes. Lafayette Square area.

Only took him 14 years to admit it……..

No. Go ahead James. Call out the retarded gap tooth mayor, the tax cheat DA, the police chief that can barely form sentences, and the progressive sheriff who has never spent an hour doing corrections work.

Carville is a right wing conspiracy theory democrat compared to the progressive socialist fricks we have now.

This is going to confuse the people on the board. The idea that someone from a different party than them says something they agree with will overload their brain.
Love him or hate him, its good to see someone that has somewhat of a voice to say this. New Orleans is worse today than it was 4 years ago. 4 years ago I still enjoyed going to New Orleans. Right now, the idea of going to New Orleans doesn't excite me.
And the whole pandemic situation changed things in places all over the country (and world). Crime has spiked all over. I saw something today about unsolved murders and that the number of unsolved murders have gone up drastically in the past two years (in the US).
But I think the citizens should be blamed for the problems as well. What percentage of registered voters went vote for the mayor election last year? 38%? And even with shite candidates Latoya still didn't get 50% of the vote. She is the incumbent and couldn't get 50% in a low turnout election? That usually heavily favors the incumbent. An incumbent usually starts off with 30% of the vote. That's all the people who work under the mayor, their families, etc.
The same goes for Baton Rouge. Because of the presidential election there were a lot of people who went out and voted for the mayor election. There was a runoff and the number who voted in the runoff dropped substantially. Her numbers are kind of weak as well.
I am sure there people who think the same for both Latoya and SWB "oh they have the black vote why waste my time?". I would argue that the ultra liberal whites play a bigger factor than the black votes. You are going to have both white and black voters in which race will play a factor in how they vote. Then you have voters who will vote for a certain party no matter what (which shouldn't be as big of an issue for local elections, but people are going to believe whatever they want).
My point is, you are telling me there are not one or two decent people in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge who can energize people? Get the people who don't give a shite because their isn't a decent candidate out to vote?
