My wife and I decided independently of one another to not take the shot. I half expected her to.

She had Covid symptoms two weeks before she had a stomach ache one night. She got tested for Covid, but was negative. The day after the stomach ache, she was told she was terminal.

Subsequent biopsies confirmed it.

We wore masks, but not for Covid, but in case her resistance was low. It appeared, however, that her resistance was good because she never got Covid or any other kind of sickness the whole time she was on chemo.

In fact, she was amazingly healthy otherwise. No typical metabolic issues at all.

Clearly, research at the genetic level is where the money is to be made and hopefully they make some progress in cancer treatment and prevention.

There is also room for a look at repurposing medications that have already been through the really expensive part of development.

I no longer hold the medical profession in as high regard as I once did. That’s why I tell people you have to be your own doctor. That is to say do your own research and understand what you are getting or not getting.

It is tricky ground to start asking your Oncologist questions And they’re not that crazy about it so it is sort of a minefield to pick your way through.

I got quite the education that I never wanted to have.

Anyway, in the end, it was all for naught and we knew it. But we didn’t talk about it.

I appreciate grasping at straws, but Invermectin hasn't shown to be of any benefit, beyond some unsubstantiated, anecdotal reports.

You say this lie with such confidence. You will not research further bc your mind is made up.

Willful ignorance.

So if he prescribed it to you, and it helped matters, would he believe it then?

The problem is if he prescribes it, the only way to know if it had any effect would be to quit other treatments, especially when the N is one. Even then, it could just be a contemporaneous correlation.

Variables and lack of a control is what makes drawing any conclusion from a situation like that very iffy.

Glad to see the OT doctors are still hard at their research.

It's hilarious because the OP probably takes a handful of prescriptions already. Why not add ivermectin to the cocktail.

These people distrust and slam doctors until they actually need them. Then they see the light pretty fast

I took the shots b/c of chemo, and I'd do it again. Their resistsnce was so low...

Fighting cancer at the genetic level shows the most promise, IMO.

Indeed. Nearly all of the new agents being developed target specific enzymes/proteins/pathways ( or genetics of the cancer cell essentially) in the cancer cells-which leads to better responses and less toxicity than the traditional chemotherapies.

The first of these was imatinib in the early 2000s which targets a bcr-abl gene in chronic myelogenous leukemia. Essentially all patients with this leukemia have a chromosomal alteration called the 9;22 translocation. Currently a person diagnosed with this cancer has similar survival to age matched controls, versus around a 5 year average survival in the late 1990s. Imatinib is now generic and can be obtained for about $50-$100 per month I believe- and studies have been run to evaluate safety of completely discontinuing these drugs to minimize toxicity and cost. In fact, I have taken several of my patients off of these agents with chronic myelogenous leukemia who are in a complete remission.

Research consists of many sources and Google is the last place you’d search for the truth, just as medical textbooks written by big pharma are confirmation bias for the indoctrinated.

“Joe Tippins”
Read the article again,he didn’t say anything about ivermectin. What he took and talked talked about is febendazole.

Febendazole is an antiparasitic. There are promising studies in vitro and in vivo in animals.

If I get cancer and chemo is not working I’ll take ivermectin and febendazole,Dr.,be damned. What is there to lose?

Ivermectin etc can also result in ineligibility for clinical trials at MD Anderson & other cancer centers.

You ignore the few already provided so I’m not gonna waste my time when you could research yourself if you genuinely wanted the truth.

I couldn’t care less if you believe. Your health is your business. If one treated parasites regularly they’d never have to worry about a cancer diagnosis.

You folks with you "ivermectin cures cancer" obvioulsy have never had to personally deal with a potentially life ending illness. When you do and your doctor prescribes XYZ, you will take XYZ and hope like hell it works for you like it has for others.

They hope like hell cancer treatments work bc they know how many people die.
