I'm 42 and got the flu for the first time a few months ago. It sucked for a few days but I've had worse.

You’ve probably had the flu before.

About 8% of the United States gets it every year.

The odds of you never having the flu are incredibly low.

I’m a grown arse man. Never had chicken pox. Naturally immune. I’m going around doing things that the “heroes” on the front line are too afraid to do.

So I've had it and didn't know it?

Are you just ignorant to how these things work?

You almost certainly had chicken pox as a child but it was a very mild case.

Or you are a bigger idiot and got vaccinated against it.

Because if both one and two are both wrong and you legit never have been exposed to it, if you get it at this age you are screwed.

Our parents used to make us get it on purpose.

While I am not invincible, I have never seen any evidence to the contrary that I am not immortal.

Hell idk.

I’m just saying if my life was on the line and I had to guess if you’ve had the flu or not, at 42 years old I’d guess that you’ve had it.

Like when you had your initial Herpes simplex 2 outbreak for the first time?

I've never had the the flu either as far back as I can remember. I've never had a flu shot either during my mature life but I guess I might have had one when I as a child. It's a bit ironic because I was one of those kids who every time I would get my head under water swimming, I would get a bad sinus and/or ear infection.

So are the odds of dying from COVID-19. Trump and the rest of the govt. were telling everyone not to worry, the virus only has a 1% mortality rate

The numbers they released yesterday stated there would be between 100K-240K deaths in the US alone

So I guess this means the government is anticipating between 10,000,000-24,000,000 cases in the US
