Canadians dont tip worth a damn. They order wangs, scrawberry dacarees, and need more ranch and napkins than the service station holds. Run you to death, and leave 2 dollar on a 75 dollar meal. And even have the audacity to tell you "that fo you" like it is a good tip.

Gradually, yes, just like one day we will be able to bet on sports in terminals at the gas station or bars.

But the slow spread of gambling in the US is absolutely because of Jesus values.

It's mainly due to mob ties and corruption.

Canada is generally awesome in June.

I'd say so - at least in Vancouver it was. In the 40's and 50's vs the temps here, the sun doesn't really set until like after 9:00 PM, and you could feel safe walking pretty much anywhere.

Canada's like your attic. You never think about it, but when you go up there, you're like 'there's some cool shite up here.'

I think I still have the Tshirt from when I worked in Canada that pushed for Alberta and Sask to seceed from eastern Canada.

I was filling in up there for our branch before the next manager could get there and there was a Post Office strike and the people were angry that the strike was called for just after their federal taxes had to be mailed in.

Aux en Meadows in Newfoundland is a great park and a Viking settlement. Gros Morne on the way to Aux is magnificent. Newfoundland has a massive potatoe problem. Lobsters are cheap in fall.

Lots of fighting on federal level over small amounts of funding.

Really ugly wolf-dog hybrids in the east.

Love the Canadian Rockies. Loved camping on Vancouver Island.

Any country that has Butchert Gardens gets points.

Having been married to a Canadian for 42 years, I've learned just about everything there is to know about their culture.

Montreal is dirty.

Toronto is like Chicago, but replace black people with middle easterners and Asians.

Haven't been to vancouver.
