Gahhh why doesn't Amazon just print more money, then this wouldn't be an issue. Greedy bastards.

Whether Amazon finds a way to close that gap will be closely watched in Washington. This model is great for slackers. It really sucks for the ambitious.

They’re just now noticing this?

Immediately after I read the press release last month, I congratulated Amazon on managing to get a massive PR coup while the employees either gain little or lose something.

if you're that ambitious, you're probably not working at an amazon warehouse or its a temp gig while your working on other things.

I guess this is what happens when you let a socialist set the pay scale.

socialism 101

take higher wages away from the producers to give to the non producers and "iwants"

they should be thanking bernie for their lower wages now that he "helped them"

Yes, the model isn't great but the amount is probably negligible. Take Mrs. Union. Her pay went from 15 to 16 bucks. If you take he bonus opportunity (8% a month), she would lose 20 cents per hour. That is 416 dollars a year, assuming she hits that 8% every single month.

People that are going from 12 or 13 to 15 are making out.

Bezos did not become rich by being a fool. Buffoons like Sanders only hoodwink the college crowd that live with their parents and think that is how their lives should play out.

This is just like decades ago when all the do-gooders rabble roused and made noise on behalf of the cane cutters here in Florida. What happened? All the big operators went to mechanical harvesting. Cane cutters were out of jobs. The do-gooders didn't care. They just moved on to the next cause.

*Everyone was going to go mechanical eventually. The do-gooders just sped up the process and killed those jobs.

No, they were complaining at the meeting when amazon announced it to their employees. Not sure why this is news. It was discussed in the first thread.
