Thinking about the match and I just remembered the whole back injury storyline - why did they do that? It didn’t seem like it affected the match or aftermath in any way

I think Randy is legit hurt and he wins if he wasn’t. Only way that build up make any sense

If that were the case, have him win it and then have to relinquish it. Builds momentum for him to come back and get the title back for #16 and flushes the whole title picture.start it all over. Let McAfee screw Cody out of his chance for the title and it's a completely new division.

If they're going to take the title off Cody now anyway why not let Randy take it and then be the one to vacate it due to a (legit) injury? It seems the crowd home happy, gives him #15, and the title is in the same spot. Frankly this screams that there's top many hands in the pot and for a second year in a row they've screwed up the main event WWE Championship match at WrestleMania. So look at the common denominators...HHH, Cody, and Nick/Ari/TKO. They don't have Cena's tour to keep interest in the product either. Perhaps ticket sales and ratings will finally reflect the substandard product.
I feel bad for HHH because he proved he could do an awesome job before TKO. Now it feels like he's being setup to be the scapegoat. If you know the UFC record it's obvious that like Dana White, he's being used as a familiar face who acts as a buffer between TKO and the fans. With his health history and his grandkids being set for life, how long will he hang around?

Considering the card tomorrow, it's pretty slim pickings to turn this around. Brock/Oba is going to be an old-school attraction, but i don't expect it to be all that exciting. Jade just isn't exciting. The match will be okay, but I just don't see Rhea and Jade's styles together making for a really good match. Dom and Finn should be good, but I think Finm being the demon actually makes it worse than it could be. Punk/Roman had better be good because the ladder match is really the only thing i'm actually excited to see tomorrow. I don't know about Sami/Trick, it feels like it was just thrown together.

They had a lot of time to kill (an hour and 30 minutes) and they didn't have any skits yesterday.
Remember back in Vince's days, even with the 15 matches on the card, they still made time for a good amount of skits. Not it is just stupid fricking ads. We can't even get a match promo anymore. Nope it's a cricket commercial
